Duties may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
Prepares and adjusts recipes for patients as needed. Ensures food items and prepared food products are stored properly. Cooks for a variety of dietary needs. Weighs, measures and prepares ingredients for various recipes. Maintains clean work areas to include kitchen and dining areas. Reads and understands oral and written instructions. Completes inventory sheets and orders food items. Prepares hot and cold foods according to diet census. Follows safety practices in using kitchen tools, equipment and utensils. Operates a variety of food service equipment. Maintains inventory of food items and supplies. Work Schedule:

Position requires concentrating for lengthy periods of time, working with powered cleaning equipment, and working with frequent interruptions. Position also requires continuous standing, walking, and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling. Lifting (45 lbs and over); Heavy Carrying (45 lbs); Pushing; Both hands required; Walking (1-2 hours); Standing; Repeated bending; Ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination simultaneously; Specific visual requirement (read typewritten material without strain); Hearing (aid permitted); excessive cold; slippery or uneven walking surfaces, working around machinery with moving parts; working around moving objects or vehicles and working closely with others. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in the kitchen area and in the ingredient control units. Incumbent is exposed to extreme temperatures, loud noises and strong odors and will work with equipment having sharp blades, motorized and removable parts and in an area that may produce wet floors and slippery surfaces. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Experience:
A specific length of training and experience is not required, but you must show evidence of training or experience of sufficient scope and quality of your ability to do the work of this position. Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
