PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (ELECTRONICS) (Title 32)

This position is located in the ANG Wing/Group Flying Activity, Air Support Operations Center (ASOC), Air Support Operations Group (ASOG) Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS). Its purpose is to provide maintenance management guidance and controls in accordance with various directives. The specialty knowledge of electronics is required. Establishes short and long-range schedules for complex electronics communications and related equipment and components through all maintenance phases. Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules for maintenance requirements. Ensures the supervisor is advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules based on current or projected operational commitments. Reviews, evaluates, and files documented information for planning and scheduling maintenance actions. Maintains historical records of communications and associated aerospace ground equipment (AGE). Ensures that time compliance technical orders (TCTO) are documented and recorded accurately through the automated maintenance system. Develops work sequencing and scheduling procedures to ensure full use of available resources. Analyzes reports on maintenance schedules, performance, requirements, and trends. Coordinates with support organization and maintenance activities to improve procedures and resolve problems. Evaluates maintenance capabilities to expedite workload accomplishment and recommends corrective measures to prevent schedule delays. Impacts and evaluates maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation. Evaluates and interprets findings in terms of efficiency, reliability, and recommendations. Schedules unit equipment for periodic depot maintenance (PDM). Authorizes the cannibalization of equipment when parts are needed for higher priority repair jobs. Maintains records to assure that cannibalized parts are returned to the original equipment. Prepares input to the Status of Resource and Training (SORTS) report that indicates the degree of readiness or equipment and maintenance personnel. This report indicates the level of personnel training as well as the condition of equipment so that the readiness of the unit for mobilization can be determined. Military Grades:

Experience:
Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least 24 months experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc. Knowledge of the maintenance and repair of various types of complex electronic communications equipment and components. Knowledge of activity, staff, support operations, resources, performance, workload, trends, equipment, supplies, and materials, etc., to develop, plan, and establish production schedules. Extensive knowledge, understanding, and use of electronics communications equipment and components terminology, data, and standards, and how to relate them to new projects. Knowledge and experience to observe and analyze production operations to determine if schedules are being followed and improved and the causes of production delays.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
