Requisition Number KCS-174731MV Post Date 4/26/2017 Title Insurance Compliance Analyst City Oklahoma City State OK Description Kemper is seeking a Insurance Compliance Analyst with a background in insurance compliance and/or as a paralegal or legal assistant. Applicants with journalism, media writing or Copywriting/editing experience will also be considered. To be successful in this position, you must possess superior reading comprehension, excellent written and verbal communication skills, copywriting and editing skills, a high attention to detail and the ability to work as a member of a team.
As an Insurance Compliance Analyst, you will engage with the legal/compliance department on regulatory issues related to advertising, life and health insurance policies and insurance company operations. You will help prepare insurance forms and filings for approval with state insurance departments, review and edit advertising and other media according to established company guidelines and government regulations. A high attention to detail will be required to work with attorneys to research, analyze and disseminate proposed and enacted legislation or state regulations impacting company products, practices or procedures.
Position
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
1 - 4 years as a paralegal/legal assistant and/or in media writing,
journalism, copywriting/editing preferred
Legal and/or regulatory experience a plus
Familiarity with Associated Press Style
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator a plus
