The Housekeeper is responsible for the ongoing cleaning and appearance of Epworth Villa, including the residents rooms and living areas. Reporting to the General Services Manager, the Housekeeper will also ensure sanitation by carefully following company policies and procedures.
The ideal Housekeeping candidate has a high school diploma/GED, must have the ability to speak, read and write English when communicating with residents, resident families and co-workers, and can perform all of the required bending, kneeling, and standing associated with this job.
The following is a representative list of duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
Cleans offices, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
Cleans residents' apartments as scheduled
Moves furniture, dusts furniture, cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
Washes windows, door panels, and sills
Empties wastebaskets, vacuums, and empties and cleans ashtrays
Transports trash and waste to disposal area
Replenishes bathroom supplies
Performs emergency pull cord testing
Complete any report or log as requested
Attend related in-service trainings and staff meetings as requested
Immediately report equipment malfunctions, injuries, and accidents to supervisor
Use effective universal precautions and sanitation practices
When resident is transferred or discharged from facility, perform cleaning procedures to assure room is prepared for new occupancy
Perform cleaning and sanitizing procedures in accordance with infection control policies and procedures
Perform other jobs or tasks, such as assisting with residents, as assigned and requestedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
