BASIC PURPOSE : As a Web Developer for Love's, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing clean, modern, scalable, enterprise web applications, services, portals, and APIs that are exposed to both internal business users and external customers and vendors using Microsoft technologies. The solutions must be intuitive to all users with a wide range of technical skillsets. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
MAJOR
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test internal and outward facing solutions that meet business requirements using Microsoft technologies
Develop web solutions with mobility in mind using responsive techniques and bootstrap
Design, develop and test mobile solutions written in .NET using the Xamarin platform
Work closely and communicate effectively with analysts and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute to internal initiatives and activities
Deliver WOW factor to end users and customers
Stay current with industry best practices and reevaluate our strategy as new technologies and patterns emerge.
Other duties assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Education:
Bachelors' Degree in the field of computer science or software engineering preferred.
Experience:

years web development
Well versed in UX Principles
Strong in HTML5/CSS/jQuery and client side development
Strong in MVC 5 or Web Forms
Strong in C# and the .NET Library
Strong in MVC and REST preferred
Strong in JSON/XML Web services (WebAPI preferred)
Strong in SQL Server preferred
Experience with SharePoint platform preferred
Experience with Bootstrap preferred
Experience with Site Core platform preferred
Experience with mobile development specifically around PhoneGap and Xamarin preferred
Experience in Agile Development preferred
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Strong verbal and oral communication skills, ability to interact with end users
Strong problem solving ability
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
