TITLE - PT Custodian/Maintenance
Dale Rogers Training Center is looking for an energetic person to perform general/light maintenance, cleaning & backup driver duties Monday-Friday, 1:30-6pm, $9 /hr. Great opportunity for someone to use their skills to make a difference! Related experience helpful! Must have clean MVR & OK license.
SCOPE:
Assigned custodian responsibilities for the Administration Building, Vocational Services Building and Main Building South. Maintenance of Dale Rogers Training Centers ground. Minor maintenance repairs

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Custodian knowledge and experience
Self-starter
Experience Stripping/Waxing Tile floors
HIRING REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must have valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
Must be able to pass OSBI, MVR, DHS Registry Check and any other background check as agency is required or deems necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have regular and punctual attendance.
Must be able to make quick and logical decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job Description:
Standing up to eight hours
Able to lift maximum weight of 50 pound (vertically)
Able to lift maximum weight of 25 pounds (horizontally)
Able to carry the above described weights a maximum distance of 100 feet
Must be able to physically demonstrate first aid skills including seizure care, perform CPR; use an AED and perform the Heimlich maneuver.
The position requires standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crouching and kneeling. May also grasp, push, pull, drag and lift equipment and other agency items.
Must have mobility, vision, hearing and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Normal working hours are from 1:30 - 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. One 15 minute break if scheduling allows. This schedule will be reviewed each week and may be adjusted accordingly to agency needs based on weather (snow/ice storms), special events, and other unforeseen issues or circumstances.
This position is non-exempt and does receive overtime pay at time and a half for over 40 hours worked per payroll week.

RESPONSIBILITIES -
Essential Functions:
Performs janitorial duties in accordance to cleaning schedule and/or as situation warrants.
Responsible for assigned tile floors including buffing, stripping and waxing.
Responsible for assigned carpet including vacuum and spot cleaning.
Responsible for stocking supplies in assigned restrooms and kitchens
Will maintain assigned Janitorial supplies and equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance as needed.
Checks fire alarms, tornado alarms, smoke detectors and all agency clocks.
Changes air conditioning filters as needed.
Responsible for safety and chemical awareness.
Ancillary Functions:
Perform fixed route duties for the evening route only when driver is absent.
Responsible for operating any DRTC vehicle in a safe manner according to all laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle.
Responsible for completion of necessary forms for operation of DRTC vehicles.
May be called in for emergency maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Fixed route duties for the evening route.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
