Job Description:
SIGN-ON BONUS OF $50 AFTER 90 DAYS
We are currently searching for an OVERNIGHT ROOM ATTENDANT to assist in maintaining our elegant property in the late night hours! This position helps manage the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure quality standards are met while delivering a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Responsible for cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas during late shift: 11pm to 7am
Must clean rooms thoroughly but quickly (25 minutes per room) so they can be ready for guest check in
Must communicate with front desk about rooms that are clean and dirty or needing maintenance repair
May assist with deep cleaning projects
Must complete necessary cleaning checklist made my Executive Housekeeper to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
Carry out the special needs and requests of guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members.
Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction
Follows hotel procedures on Lost and Found policy, ensuring lost items are reported in a timely fashion so they may be returned to the appropriate guest
## Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIRED:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Must speak English fluently to communicate effectively with guests.
Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents, and operation of different types of equipment.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 30 lbs.
Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
NOTE THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT SHIFT. HOURS ARE TYPICALLY 11PM TO 7AM
