Job Purpose: To provide compassionate daily living care that enhances the lives of our ResidentsThe following are essential duties and responsibilities; however, this should not be construed as an exhaustive list; other duties may be assigned.Duties: Performs preventative maintenance on assigned section of the campus.
Performs repairs to building, fixtures, furniture, appliances, heat and a/c system, plumbing and small electrical apparatuses and/or switches and outlets in the designated area.
Maintains all tools and work equipment in clean, orderly and operational condition.
Works cooperatively with other staff members using a team approach.
Practices safety at all times; applies all accident, fire safety or emergency procedures in compliance with Epworth Villa Safety Policies and Procedures.
Provides after hours on-call maintenance as scheduled. Provides weekend maintenance service as scheduled. May be required to assist in snow removal from walks.Performance Expectations: Quantity of Work: Complete all required job tasks within the appropriate time period. In addition, go the extra mile, be productive, and demonstrate the ability to perform job tasks efficiently.
Quality of Work: Enhance surroundings by cultivating a home environment and focusing on the details.
Job Knowledge: Demonstrate his/her use of job knowledge compared to training curriculum plus the use of equipment required to deliver service.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
No computer experience is required at this time; however, some computer knowledge is recommended.Other Skills and Abilities: Must possess compassion, understanding, patience and tact in dealing with residents, families, and work effectively with staff. Must demonstrate an attitude of service to residents, family members, staff, and people from the and/or Abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: One-year trade school or other construction or maintenance trade certifications.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
