Supports the Casthouse in the Strategic Plan and manages major projects. Measure, analyzes and improves the casting process to meet the health, safety, quality and productivity requirements specified by the customers, sales and/or corporate. Ensures quality and consistency in the casting operations. Coaches and mentors the Technical Group to facilitate development.
Follow up and support the casting Strategic Plan. Manage the major projects related to the Strategic Plan. Follow up on the process performance, identify deviation and when necessary implement and control proper specifications for casting to ensure optimum productivity and quality. Compile results, analyze and suggest the nest actions for improvement. Coach and mentor the Technical Group and operators to ensure the team is achieving the overall objectives. Collaborate with corporate technical group to strengthen knowledge transfer and Best Practice sharing and implementation. Act as technical Supervisor in Technical Supervisor's absence.
BS Metallurgy, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or related. 10 years experience. Experience in Aluminum Casting Manufacturing, Aluminum Slab, Billet, Extrusion, Foundry and Smelter experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
