Responsibilities:
Summary: Evaluates work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of company functions The incumbent works as a member of a Continuous Improvement team to prepare and conduct process improvement
events
. The incumbent will develop and prepare materials for use in the events, coordinate with department management and participants, lead instruction on the use of process improvement tools, facilitate team decisions, manage team work, resolve team conflict, assist in the development of implementation action plans, and conduct follow-up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Gathers information to evaluate current work processes in order to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs, and duration.
Develops strategies and programs that improve the productivity and efficiency of the various work processes of the company.
Applies various industrial engineering problem solving and productivity techniques to evaluate the improvement of recommended strategies and programs.
Instructs others in continuous process improvements, including the use of various problem solving and productivity techniques such as process mapping and cost time management. Trains and coaches team members in concepts and techniques: assisting department managers to convert theory into successful application.
Facilitates employee teams to build cohesiveness and improve the overall results of the respective teams' tasks.
Conducts improvement events such as TIP's, 3P, Materials Flow/Pull, Value Stream Mapping and Problem Solving.
Manages other workshop leaders and Kaizen cell as required to meet customer needs.
Serves as internal consultant working with site management team to establish future vision for operations and development of strategic plan for implementation.
Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
Communicates and executes the project plan while coaching people and embedding Lean practices to achieve our product quality and supply goals and significant business objectives.
Identifies and recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
Provide planning, execution and updates to the management team
Initiate, lead and manage a variety of Kaizen events and other improvement activities to address operations or business problems to close performance gaps quickly, remove non-value added activities and standardize work to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost
Measure, document, and communicate progress towards meeting objectives. Create and maintain communication materials, A3s, charters, report-outs, graphical display of metrics, etc, to communicate progress of the Lean transformation for all levels of the organization
Provide needed oversight and training for the Lean Management System's philosophy, tools, techniques, and continuous improvement practices
Identify long-term improvement and cost reduction opportunities
Participate in deploying the improvements that align with meeting annual goals and objectives
Establish and maintain relationships with members of the Corporate Global TBS team to ensure consistent transformation amongst other Terex sites
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business and/or Materials Management or applicable course of study Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum five (5+) years experience working within a Lean operating system.
Leadership/Facilitation of no fewer than (10) continuous improvement events
Preferred Qualifications
Understands principles of total cost of acquisition.
Knowledge and use of Lean Principles; continuous improvement, process management, 3P, cost downs, TQM (Total Quality Management), balanced use of people, lean equipment design, maximize value add, and kaizen events and experience in Lean Production Systems
Experience leading 3P events to eliminate waste through product and process design. Partner with cross functional management to achieve optimal results
Understands principles of total cost of acquisition.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
