Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Global Sourcing Lead to support the development, implementation, and management of optimal sourcing strategies.
This job will have the following
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the procurement and vendor management strategy, ensuring that all vendors are delivering maximum value through their services
  • Develop a Global procurement program, by establishing internal and external policies, standards, processes and templates for working with vendors.
  • Understand vendor spending by category, cost center, region and vendor.
  • Classify, rationalize and optimize the vendor portfolio, and concentrate efforts on managing the most strategic vendors.
  • Manage regular senior-level collaborative meetings between the vendor and the client.
  • Create contract, performance, relationship and risk management procedures.
  • Ensure there are clear metrics across all key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure strong performance management.
  • Manage appropriate personnel (such as performance, contract and risk, and relationship managers) that are part of the vendor management team.
  • Identify and execute value opportunities with key vendor relationships.
  • Manage the team whose activities are related to vendor relationships, contract and commercial terms and conditions, and product or service performance.
  • Analyze vendor delivery problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes.
  • Manage the communications process with vendors.
  • Develop the reporting for vendor performance in areas that include quality, capacity, and responsiveness.
  • Collect constituent reporting requirements and develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present relevant data tailored to the audience.
  • Focus vendor performance metrics on technical, process and business outcomes, such as innovation, competitive advantage and increased revenue. Define and hold strategic vendors to higher performance standards and drive continuous improvement.
  • Inform vendor managers/procurement and business operations about information gleaned from market investigation reports on sourcing methods, products and potential vendors, and while conducting vendor analysis.
  • Mitigating, monitoring and managing vendor risks
  • Conducting due diligence on vendors to confirm financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance.
  • Assess and report on the risk level of vendors based on financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties.
  • Establish a matrixed Global Operating Model for Vendor management
  • Provide appropriate support/training to internal staff that manage individual vendor accounts.
  • Drive a focused culture through performance targets, one-on-ones, a clear engagement strategy and regular performance reviews, ensuring you have the right person in the right role, based on their skills and competencies

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 5
    years of experience in Vendor Management
  • Hands on experience developing a Global procurement program
  • Experience working with Senior leadership and stakeholders providing status updates and meetings
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly and provide training to internal staff
