Forklift Operator -- Warehouse Staff Hours:
Monday - Saturday 8:
00AM - 4:
00PM Salary:
$15-$18/Hourly DOE Responsibilities and Duties Verifies items received by comparing the purchase order and the packing list/invoice Inspects condition of items and resolve the discrepancy (in weight, quality or unit price) Physically Load and Unload scrap metal materials in shipping containers Sort scrap metal materials according by type of material Operate sit down forklift to move material Operate Bobcat to move material Inventory management, Use Machines in yard (Forklift skill required!) Qualifications and Skills Must know how to operate forklift 2-3 years experience required.
Can work under high pressure, and keep high work quality under minimum supervision Well-organized, initiative, strong sense of responsibility Excellent communication skills Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background check Physically fit and able to withstand the elements of the weather Must be able to work in warehouse yard during all weather conditions.
Benefits After a 60 day probationary period is met, the company pays 100% of each employee's Health, Vision, Dental, Life insurance, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability.
An evaluation is also conducted at a 90 day probation period, in which the employee is eligible for a monetary increase as well.
