We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Sanitation Worker.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for food safety across our facility.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Facility Cleaning:
- Clean and disinfect food production equipment.
- - Maintain a clean and sanitized facility.
2.
Health and Safety:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety regulations.
- Regularly inspect and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues.
3.
Floor Care:
- Use appropriate equipment and cleaning agents to clean and maintain different types of equipment and surfaces.
- Vacuum and spot clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors to remove dirt, stains, and spills.
4.
Waste Management:
- Sort and separate recyclable materials from regular waste and ensure they are properly stored for pick-up.
- Operate compactor and baler machines to compact and bale recyclable materials.
5.
Team Collaboration:
- Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to promptly address any repair needs or safety concerns.
- Attend meetings and training sessions related to sanitation and health standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Prior experience in sanitation work is a plus.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, handling cleaning equipment, and cleaning chemicals is beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations related to sanitation and waste management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
