Are you passionate about Civil Engineering? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to help design, develop, and oversee a variety of civil engineering projects.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources, transportation engineering, land development, and water/wastewater engineering.
This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to apply and expand your civil engineering skills in a vibrant and fast-paced environment.
You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of accessibility, performance, and security.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all phases of civil engineering works, from conceptual and preliminary engineering to final design.
Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.
Implement and manage detailed engineering plans, costs, and schedules (including manpower) for new projects.
Develop and implement complex engineering models and analyses.
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and manage the planning and design of projects.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders during the design and construction phases of projects.
Provide mentoring to junior engineering staff and assist in the development of future project leaders.
Prepare and present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
Review government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior civil engineering role.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Proven expertise in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, Transportation Engineering, Land Development, and Water/Wastewater Engineering.
Proficient in design and calculation software.
Strong project management and supervision skills.
Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar.
Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
Willingness to travel as required for project work.
