Utilizing pre-defined actions to handle both normal course of business activities and critical events, including escalation to key parties.
The team monitors a variety of services and functions that can range from enterprise network, database, server, and security systems to various business technologies.
Minimum Qualifications 4
years' experience in an IT department supporting network infrastructure Cisco routers/switches:
3 years (Required) LAN:
3 years (Preferred) Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent experience required Unix/Linux/Windows administration experience preferred Experience updating firmware of network devices Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proactively react to alerts by performing correctional tasks to remediate issues and prevent larger issues from occurring.
Provides technical support for customer Local Area, Wireless and Wide Area Network Installs, maintains, and monitors enterprise-class network components, desktop hardware and software to include switches, routers, bridges, servers, networked storage, cables and interface cards Configures switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and VPN technologies Working knowledge of I.

Network Security, firewall hardening and network infrastructure Creates, updates, and maintains support documentation Deploys and administers network monitoring and alerting systems Monitors network bandwidth performance and availability Cat6 wiring, installation, and management Analyzes need for automation of repetitive tasks Coordinates with outside entities to resolve complex problems Proven experience with Cisco network equipment Ensure monitoring tools are configured properly to effectively send proactive alerts.
