Non-Exempt Job Purpose:
The Help Desk Analyst is responsible for providing elevated technical support through analysis and problem solving to facilitate installation, implementation, maintenance, education and documentation of a variety of technologies for employees.
Essential Functions:
1.
Act as escalation point for technical problems 2.
Train and mentor other Help Desk Analyst 3.
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat or email 4.
Troubleshoot and diagnose different technical issues and recommend technical fixes 5.
Accurately log all help desk interactions in SpiceWorks system 6.
Stay current with system information, changes and updates 7.
Update process and policy documentation 8.
Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issue Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience:
3-5 years in help desk role Strong customer service skills Specific Knowledge, Working knowledge of common software and hardware Previous help desk experience Knowledge of IT best practices and processes Work Environment Position will be primarily located in an office environment.
Position will primarily take place seated at a desk and will be indoors in a controlled environment.
Exposure to noise elements typical of an office environment.
Travel Requirements Negligible.
