Summary:
The Events Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting with planning and overseeing logistics for Epic school-wide events and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
The Events Operations Specialist works closely with Epic staff and outside vendors to carefully plan and execute school-wide events and programs.
This includes booking events and handling reservations, working with vendors and facilities on contracts, overseeing food and beverage orders for events, anticipating technology needs and making sure all necessary equipment is available and foresight into other logistical plans and needs.
Collecting post-event data for assistance with future planning needs Oversees collateral/events library for checking out event inventory Oversees the entire diploma process from start to finish.
This includes ordering, printing, mailing, managing returns and reprint requests, and reviewing diplomas on hold for technology returns Manage mail delivery projects as needed It is imperative that Epic events be run in a professional manner, so strong attention to detail and problem-solving is essential.
Performs any other related duties as assigned by other appropriate administrators Supervisory

No supervisory responsibilities Education and/or Experience Experience with event planning for large groups preferred Finance experience and relationships to assist with purchase orders and budgets Qualifications Comfortable in a networking environment Willing to work independently Willing to adapt and be flexible to meet the changing professional development needs of the organization Able to communicate effectively across all departments Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to present effectively and persuasively.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Zoom and Google Suite.
Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites is preferred.
Must have a high aptitude to learn new software as necessary for the business operations of the school.
