4K a year If you enjoy a challenge, and have a natural sense of curiosity, this might be the role for you! The Vendor Risk Analyst works closely with a team of analysts and various lines of business to ensure supplier risk is adequately evaluated and reported across the organization.
Supplier Management (aka Vendor Management) is a niche area of financial services that allows for continued opportunities to learn in areas such as information security, compliance, legal contracts, Nth parties, technology, and more.
This position is primarily in the office, with the opportunity to be a hybrid position.
Principle Duties &
Responsibilities:
Conduct applicable due diligence and contract reviews to onboard new vendors into the vendor management system and set appropriate review requirements based on the vendor risk rating and program guidelines.
Maintain collaborative relationships with internal vendor relationship managers to ensure and promote effective communication, vendor performance, service delivery and ongoing relationships.
Provide appropriate guidance and advice to internal vendor relationship managers and vendors by drawing out useful information, asking appropriate questions, and analyzing feedback.
Seek out methods and resources for monitoring vendor performance.
Establish appropriate processes for internal relationship managers to comply with due diligence and monitoring requirements.
Perform and evaluate vendor risk assessments to determine specific security and compliance requirements.
Maintain detailed notes, conversations and actions taken on vendor relationships to support compliance and risk management expectations.
Identify vendors that pose elevated risk and help establish remediation plans to address operational issues or audit findings.
Adequately communicate identified vendor risks to business lines throughout the organization.
Make recommendations to management regarding operational and organizational process improvements.
Participate in department meetings to discuss organizational objectives and gather information.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

banking operations, vendor management, third party risk management, project management, legal agreements, procurement, and/or sourcing
Qualifications:
3-5 years related work experience in third party risk/risk management, vendor management, contracting, procurement, or banking operations.
Bachelor's degree, or commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of degree Advanced knowledge of MS Office (including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint) Knowledge of vendor management software solutions, such as Coupa Risk Assess, a plus Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
