Actuarial Analyst

DESCRIPTION:
Develop and maintain specialized databases, programs and other software tools to support various actuarial activities.
Complete less complex projects and assist higher level actuarial analysts with the development and enhancement of complex spreadsheets and other projects.
Further develop actuarial knowledge and skills by passing SOA actuarial exams.
SKILLS:
Proficiency with PC Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office applications Strong oral and written communication skills Knowledge of spreadsheet applications and computer programming Understanding of data requirements for product maintenance activities Proficiency with Visual Basic, Macros or SQL Shows initiative, such as addressing problems when needed Demonstrates ownership of projects and work product Good planning and organizational skills, including management of multiple assignments Good judgment, problem-solving, analytical and interpretative skills Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Strong mathematical skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints Recommended Skills Actuarial Science Analytical Communication Computer Programming Coordinating Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
