Systems Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
Summary:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Responsibilities:
Supports use case, architecture, and requirements development utilizing MBSE.
Analyzing customer inputs to define system requirements, performing functional development/modeling of the system behaviorSupports verification and validation of system requirements with proper flow-down and traceability for system, hardware, and software components to include verification, validation, and test plans and schedules, procedures and documentation, execution, and requirements close out.
Contributes to interface development, documentation, and compliance and system integration across hardware and software domains to ensure system success with ground segment.
Works closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop System and SW build content release.
Developing verification artifacts and interfacing with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives.
Works under general supervision.

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry, (e.

Bachelor and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience such as PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master
7 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
