Responsibilities:
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Support the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Support use case, architecture, and requirements development utilizing MBSE.
Analyze customer inputs to define system requirements, performing functional development/modeling of the system behavior Support verification and validation of system requirements with proper flow-down and traceability for system, hardware, and software components to include verification, validation, and test plans and schedules, procedures and documentation, execution, and requirements close out.
Contribute to interface development, documentation, and compliance and system integration across hardware and software domains to ensure system success with ground segment.
Work closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop System and SW build content release.
Develop verification artifacts and interfacing with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives.
Work under general supervision.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree combiend with 2
years of relevant work experience in an Engineering Classification; or Master's Degree with experience in an Engineering classification.
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance 4 or more years of Systems Engineering experience Preferred
Qualifications:
Active security clearance (Secret or higher) Prior Aerospace Systems engineering experience Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo Your Recruiter What to Expect Applicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation which may include education, criminal and work history verifications.
