Configuration/Data Manager with Security Clearance
Principal Duties and Responsibilities oReviews, analyzes and updates packages and/or documentation for technical content, completeness, proper authorizations and adherence to specific requirements, policies and theories oEstablishes baselines on hardware and software systems oAuthorizes release of drawings, changes, and documentation oRecords, tracks and maintains status of documents and action items via a database oDevelop databases and designs and develops documentation oDevelop and generate special reports and/or weekly progress reports oMay develop and prepare specific requirements, standards, plans and procedures oMay provide technical advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements oMay participate in special studies and projects Required Experience One of the following combinations of education/
Experience:
oBS degree or higher and 5 years of experience, two (2) of which must be in the DoD -OR- oHSD and 13 years of experience, two (2) of which must be in the DoDoWorking knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages oU.
SCitizenship required; Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications oAbility to apply knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its lifeoAbility to assist in maintaining configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipmentoKnowledge of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) or similar system for originating, to include assisting with receiving, processing and tracking Deficiency Reports.
