Eastlake Village Apartments is looking for a Maintenance Tech to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our 177 unit residential apartment community.
A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind, attention to detail and a strong skill set in a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
The goal is to maintain & upgrade units, grounds, and common areas in the best possible condition.
Compensation package includes 50% discount for onsite apartment.
Responsibilities Complete make ready work and general service work orders.
Walk property daily for exterior maintenance issues and report to Property Manager.
Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.
) Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.
g.
landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.
) and pool maintenance On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drying walling, painting, etc.
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength High school diploma or equivalent Recommended Skills Carpentry Fine Motor Skills Landscaping Maintenance Painting Plumbing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
