Rod Guides Sustaining Engineer
Job DescriptionPosition is responsible for providing technical support to operations, sales, and marketing departments.
Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.
Works to resolve customer complaints and problems.
Conducts research to clarify or resolve problems and develops design.
Analyzes research data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of product application for customer.
Coordinates with the NPD department to develop and introduce new products.
Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics.
Plans and develops experimental test programs.
Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets function and performance specifications.
Confers with operations and other engineer personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
Evaluates engineering test results or possible application of development of systems or other uses.
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks.
Must be able to interact with customers.
Travel required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
