Summary:
The Bank Teller will complete deposits, withdrawals, and other financial interactions while providing excellent customer service to all customers.
Essential Functions:
Cash checks and disburse funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawals.
Accept deposits, confirm accuracy of transaction.
Prepare, verify, and issue cashiers' checks, bank money orders, and cash advances.
Enter transactions in bank's teller plus system, recording all transactions and producing customer receipts.
Evaluate checks to verify endorsements, dates, identification of persons receiving payments, bank names, and overall legality of the documents.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote new banking services.
Calculate daily transactions using appropriate technology.
Balance all monies in cash drawers at the end of shifts.
Maintain a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiable and confidential records.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements (Education, Experience):
Banking Experience High school diploma or equivalent Teller experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Going up and down stairs often.
