Job Description Service Oklahoma (SOK) is looking for an outstanding candidate who has experience in recruiting for a state agency or nonprofit organization and can communicate and engage with applicants from all backgrounds.
Typical Functions:
Consults with hiring managers and HR Director to understand the roles that need to be filled and the qualifications of the ideal candidates Recommends recruitment strategies and develops recruitment plans based on the needs of the agency Creates job postings as positions become vacant and approvals have been received Reviews and evaluates applications/resumes to ensure candidates meet the required minimum qualifications Trains and assists supervisors on dispositioning candidates in Workday Schedules interviews and coordinates interview panels for various positions Processes and tracks background checks, fingerprinting results, professional reference checks, and education checks (when applicable) for selected candidates Prepares and sends out offer letters Ensures notifications are sent out to all candidates once the offer has been accepted Tracks each stage in the recruitment process Considers excellent candidates for other vacant positions Registers, attends, and represents Service Oklahoma at recruiting events The selected candidate must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position with the use of a state vehicle.
Assists with onboarding and New Employee Orientation Performs other related job duties as required or assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge of Civil Service Rules, HCM Personnel Administration Rules, and state and federal laws Skills in verbal & written communication; Ability to create and facilitate presentations to small and large audiences Ability to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism while representing Service Oklahoma Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Ability to attain a high level of understanding of our organization, divisions, and units in order to recruit ideal candidates Ability to create and maintain strong, positive relationships Salary:
Annual salary is $60,000 (paid bi-weekly).

Qualifications:
Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of:
A bachelor's degree OR four years of human resources management experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Preference Statement:
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience in recruiting for a state agency or nonprofit organization.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
