Position Overview This position includes assembling equipment components, sub-assemblies, and accessories.
Applicants must be able to work in a heavy equipment environment and be comfortable working with overhead cranes and suspended loads.
Responsibilities Construct and assemble sub-assemblies and assemble components including shafts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes & conveyor components.
Build components utilizing hand tools such as torque wrenches, impact tools, drills, and mallets Read and understand blueprints Utilize overhead cranes for installation of parts Be comfortable working in a heavy construction environment Be goal oriented as it pertains to production Be open, understanding, and inclusive of other TM differences Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean work area Work as a team member to meet production demands set for the day Support the team on continuous improvement Flex into other areas and departments as needed All other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a regular basis Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to work 10 hours per day, plus overtime when required Use of hand tools and pneumatic tools Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with hand and power tools Previous experience working in a heavy equipment environment Familiarity with a manufacturing environment Physical Requirements of the Job Physical requirements of the job are classified as medium to heavy.
Physical demand requirements are in excess of light work.
Medium to heavy work is defined as:
10 to 40 pounds of force frequently, may include pushing, pulling, and lifting 40 to 100 pounds of force occasionally with assistance of machinery or others to move objects Ability to stand on concrete for 10
hours per shift The compensation for this position is $17.
33 per hour.
