Product Marketing Manager

Oklahoma City, OK Oklahoma City, OK Full-time Full-time $65,000 - $80,000 a year $65,000 - $80,000 a year Has responsibility for executing marketing and merchandising projects related to existing products and programs, product development and new product setup, collecting product and sales data, collating data into usable analyses, and distributing data to other functional groups within the organization.
Position assists in all aspects of the product development process, including pricing, product placement, and product promotion by executing the day-to-day activities and by monitoring and managing the product development timeline.
This is a role for a proactive self-starter where the candidate has to possess excellent creative, analytical and computer skills.
The candidate must demonstrate strong written communication skills and organizational traits with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
This is a multi-faceted, hands-on position that requires the skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
A team player who can work in a fast-paced environment, shows a flexible attitude, and is looking to develop professionally in marketing.
Responsibilities Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products Manage and establish innovation and new product pipelines to maintain competitive advantage in the market for all key categories; design and develop products on behalf of our customers with unique features Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases to manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan; conduct product life cycle management including product launch and rationalization Coordinate large projects with large groups of people; manage different people and personalities to come together and accomplish a common goal Market intelligence - be the expert on your category, your customer, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition Analyze data and make confident key decisions which affect the business and categories Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products Understand pricing strategies; analyze cost and pricing to create profitable programs Strong public speaking abilities to present new ideas, product knowledge, creative programs, and important reports Ownership of the in-store programs including optimizing product offerings, product displays, plan-o-gram designs, and merchandising elements - all data-driven (consumer, financial, competitive, etc Skills Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or similar role Computer skills and proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word Experience in market analysis, market intelligence Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.
