5 Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description HOSPITALITY AIDE JOB DESCRIPTION The Hospitality Aide's primary responsibility is to assist the team with non-nursing duties to create a pleasant environment for their residents.
Qualifications/Education:
Must have a general knowledge related to nursing facilities and patient population.
Physical Requirements:
Must be willing and able to work a flexible shift.
Must be able to lift, push, and carry 40 pounds with 2 hands.
Must also be able to lift, push, and carry 20 pounds with 1 hand.
Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist and turn with moderate endurance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work as a member of a team to provide a welcoming and friendly environment.
Assist with room moves, clothing identification, and assorted specific housekeeping duties.
Assist in answering the call lights and route to the proper caregiver Assist in making unoccupied beds Assist in activities as directed by the facility's Activities Director Assist with resident technology needs Assist with comfort needs of residents such as adjusting temperature, closing blinds, moving water pitchers and personal items within desired reach Stock linen barrels Escorting visitors to desired locations within the facility Attends and participates in facility in-service training programs, if applicable.
Understands and agrees with the facility philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
Observes residents' rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, the right to be free of abuse and neglect, as required by the facility's policies and procedures, current standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
Tasks involving patient care which should not be performed by a hospitality aide and should be communicated to the proper caregiver to perform.
These tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Transferring a resident Dressing a resident Toileting a resident Utilizing a lift to transfer a resident Delivering meal trays Assisting with meals in the dining room CPR Grooming or shaving residents 3pm-11pm- Schedule avaliable Refer a friend program:
