3 Full-time 16 hours ago Full Job Description Assist the physician with endoscopy procedures, operate all associated equipment, clean endoscopes and other related equipment and assist the nursing staff with patient care.
This position cares for patients of all ages (pediatric, adolescents, adults and geriatrics).
This position requires age related competencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.

Basic familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
Requires certification in Basic Life Support Provider within six months of employment.
A basic understanding of concepts of microbiology, human anatomy and physiology is preferred.
A working knowledge of the following equipment is preferred:
fiberoptic and video endoscopy systems, automatic sterilizing systems, blood pressure, cardiac and pulse oximeter monitors, suction and oxygen set-ups, wheelchairs and stretchers and computers.
For Lakeside Women's Hospital:
Knowledge of preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies preferred.
Assists physician during endoscopy procedures using aseptic technique.
Ensures set-up of procedure with supplies and equipment.
Uses aseptic technique cleans, disinfects and sterilizes all equipment, scopes and instruments.
Assists nursing personnel with patient care under their supervision.
Restocks supplies in cleaning room, procedure rooms and traveling carts.
Assists with patient transport as needed.
For Lakeside Women's Hospital:
Ensures all instruments are decontaminated and stored using the appropriate processes, solutions, supplies and equipment.
Completes the necessary procedures for sterilization per manufacturer instructions and hospital procedures.
Responsible for preparing and documenting sterilization process charts, logs and records per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Completes high level disinfectant process education annually, as applicable.
Reports to assigned leader This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.

This position requires exposure to blood borne pathogens and other infectious materials as defined by OSHA.
Exposure to chemical fumes, noxious materials and foul odors.
Required to wear universal protective clothing (gloves, mask, gown, face shield, glasses/goggles, etc.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
