6 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description TEAM UP WITH US! The Assembly Tech II is responsible for adding value to our industrial and petroleum engine sales by adding customer specific enhancements to the engines' mechanical systems.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? WHAT YOU'LL DO Work the assembly process under moderate supervision.
Assembly tasks include but are not limited to; attaching equipment, aligning components such as engine generators and radiators, testing assembled components, and wiring/ cabling / sealing as needed.
Our Assembly Techs work on a variety of assemblies including but not limited to; basic hydraulic, pneumatic pipes (both screw pipe and weldments), water pipes (both screw pipe and weldments), stainless-steel tubing, and conduits assembly.
Document all repairs, testing and assembly upon completion.
Assist other Technicians with welding fit up, electrical work, painting, and other tasks as needed.
Using basic industrial engine wiring knowledge, install wiring and electrical components, as needed.
Independently operate all assembly tools.
Operate forklifts as required.
Strive to find methods to improve shop efficiency and productivity.
Demonstrate the Warren CAT mission statement in daily activities.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Two to four years' industrial engine/oilfield assembly experience.
Our Assembly Tech II's must possess mechanical and electrical tools.
Must be able to operate a computer/ software with minimal supervision.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Attention to detail and ability to execute tasks in various forms of instruction (written, verbal, diagram).
Ability to learn and read project drawings.
Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills for task completion.
