Summary:
The OSP Records Coordinator provides support to engineering services through detailed analysis of existing information from the records and databases.
This position requires a working level of knowledge in aspects of OSP (Outside Plant) fiber and copper networks.
The successful candidate is responsible for identifying the existing design and layout of the OSP telecommunications network, updating database with newly constructed portions, as well as querying database for records as needed to support engineering projects.
Essential Functions:
Under general supervision of the Director of OSP Engineering, the OSP Records Coordinator will be responsible for updating and maintaining Outside Plant records and databases.
Work on various OSP (Outside Plant) Fiber projects centered around data reconciliation Ability to read construction drawings Scrutinize a database for specific data using preconfigured searches Analyze data to acquire a specific result using Excel and stare and compare Records data in a database (GIS environment) Update the database with results obtained from an analysis Does related work as required REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:

years of experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications/telecom construction industry Ability to read and understand as build prints, and be able to identify conflicts with existing outside plant facilities, select routing of lines and equipment required for projects Familiar with GIS (Geographic Information Systems), ESRI, and Shapefile functionality Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Earth.
High School Diploma and or equivalent work experience Strong written and oral communications skills Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and the ability to apply that learning to a task Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously Mature self-management skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow through Experience working in a team business environment Experience working as a user (not necessarily an administrator) in a database Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
